I love a good theme.
I love crafting and creating, but coming up with ideas for things isn’t always the easiest. It takes time and energy and so when someone can give me a theme, I love it. I’ve been known to go a bit overboard, and this is maybe one of those times.
My sister said she was coming for a visit for Earth Day, and we could do some related activities with the kids. After picking on her for being very Vermont, I decided to go all in.
Of course we needed to look fun, so I made us all matching shirts. Maybe not the most Earth Day centric idea, but it got everyone excited.
I had planned a few little activities like planting seeds and picking up trash, but kids are unpredictable and so is the weather, so we managed to only paint some bird feeders and hang them outside.
Either way, I love a reason to get family together and take a picture.

After 5 long years, we made our return to Maine!
It hadn’t felt like we’d been away that long, but the last time we were there G was just learning how to crawl. I guess the past few years disappeared somehow. (Okay I may have a few ideas how)
We rented a house in our favorite area and spent the whole week walking everywhere. E told us it was so much fun, and think about how much money we were saving on gas! Our kids even found a love of the beach this year and so we went every single day of our vacation. They dug in the sand, they splashed in the waves, and I think all 3 of them went under (either willingly or not).
