It's admittedly an odd birthday this year. In the past I've had parties, rented hotel rooms, traveled to other cities.. and this year I kind of just want to nap.
And that's okay.
I'm actually really excited that this time next year I'll be much more focused on planning a first birthday than my birthday. I've spent enough time planning my own parties. I'm totally ready to plan some fun kids parties!
I've always used my birthday rather than New Year's to reflect on past years, and set goals for the year ahead. This birthday especially seems like a good time for that. Although I know it would be silly to set too many goals for the upcoming year, since I have no idea what it's going to be like, I'm super excited to experience it and see what life will bring.
