Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope everyone is having an enjoyable holiday filled with yummy food. We're actually on our second Thanksgiving, technically. Our first was last Friday, when E's school hosted us.
It was a bit odd, we ended up eating our dinner/lunch on the floor of his classroom while he played with toys, but it was kind of cute too. It was an easy and fun way to spend a bit more time at his school and get a feel for the place. And the more time we spend there, the more we love it. So win win.
Today we're off for a more traditional Thanksgiving with some family who are super excited to get some quality time with our lil turkey. Here's hoping that traffic isn't that bad, E takes naps, and decides he wants to be a happy baby all day!
And if not, at least he looks cute!

The fall holiday season is moving right along.
As much as I’d love to hit pause, it’s not going to happen, so let’s just jump right in.
As always, I tried to make Thanksgiving as low key as possible. I had bought some pies and a pumpkin roll from a fund raiser at the elementary school, and figured that would be good enough for Thanksgiving, and then was told that we NEEDED a pumpkin pie. Which is fine, I love pumpkin pies too, so the kids made one on the Wednesday they were out of school. Turns out F is really into baking and loved the whole process. And everyone loved the pie.
