Living the Wedding Colors - UPDATED

Recently I started to notice a theme in different parts of my life.

I got a manicure and picked two colors I thought looked good together and made me happy:

Walking down the street the other day, my bright sneakers and wristlet lifted my spirits:

At work a few days recently, I found myself particularly loving my outfit:

Tom and I were on a date for his birthday, and I noticed it again:

My wedding colors have infiltrated every corner of my life!!  Subconsciously I think everything I've bought in the past 6 months have been on my colorwheel haha.  I swear I'm not wearing them ALL at the same time, even I admit that would be a bit much :)  And Tom would point out that I'm alone on this - he hasn't quite embraced the colors in his daily wardobe like I have.

On a more personal note, this Saturday I will be running my first 5k!  Two years ago after the Boston Marathon bombings, I told myself I wanted to run a BAA race (Boston Athletic Association - the group that sponsors the Boston Marathon also sponsors a 5k, a 10k and a half marathon).  I didn't quite get around to it last year, but this year I'm officially signed up with two of my closest friends, I've been training, and I might even be ready!  Even so, cross your fingers for me?  I am definitely NOT a runner, and this will be my first time doing anything like this!  Feel free to leave me some love or encouragement below!

And I swear, when I went to Marathon Sports and told them I needed a new pair of sneakers and a long sleeve running shirt, these were the items the employee picked out for me - I didn't choose the colors!

UPDATE

WE DID IT!  I've been a nervous wreck the past two days ("Remember that you can always walk" has been my motto) but once the race started, my maid of honor and I were off and feeling great!  We had plans to walk at each mile point, but every time we hit one we'd look at each other and decide we were feeling good, so we kept going!  We actually ran the entire race (with one pit stop to say hi to family and friends) and never felt the need to walk.  We're still waiting for our official time to come in, but overall it was super fun and we both felt great!
