This is how crazy my life feels sometimes. I did something fun and awesome and just for me (ie without kids!) and I stayed up much too late to do it.. and somehow it’s been three weeks now and I’m just telling you about it. Because I still woke up the next morning as the mama to two little humans who did not care if I was tired. They did not want to hear my stories or look at my pictures. They wanted to be carried and sung to and entertained. And so that’s what I did.
Mamas' Night Out
When I bought these tickets, E was about 3 months old. I actually forgot that I had them for a while.
But it’s so necessary to get out once in a while with my best friend, to talk about non baby things (and a lot of baby things), and just have some fun. It was a super late night which meant not a lot of sleep for us, but it was totally worth it.
Moms Night Out
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....
...we were young, single, and living in the city. We'd go to the movies at least twice a week. We'd see concerts on week nights, we'd go to comedy shows and musicals and anything we could get tickets to.
We'd wander the streets looking for new restaurants, places to shop, things to do. No T ride was too long, no hour was too late, it was all doable. And FUN!

Ed Sheeran at Gillette Stadium!
Finally the event we've been counting down for all year has arrived! No, not the wedding - ED SHEERAN! I became obsessed with him when his last album X was released, and bought a copy for the car. I then proceeded to play it on repeat (sometimes just the same two tracks) over and over again on multiple long road trips until Tom was forced to become a fan as well. Nicole also joined us (as she tends to appreciate most talented musicians and will almost never say no when I ask her to go to something), as did Jill (who became a fan after googling "who is Ed Sheeran" when we asked her if she'd like to come).
